Well that was a let down, the ending too happy and convieniant.
At least it got the wife thinking a considering about some of the things I have been trying to get through her head for the last few years.
She is also more understanding of the what if purchases that I have made and plan on making.
Guess that part is a win.
Finally seeing it. Their timeline is too compressed IMO and they didn't show Obama golfing while all hell was breaking loose but otherwise it's a good wakeup call for some people. I can't imagine worrying about things until at least a week into the blackout with no fixes in sight but then I frequently go 1-2 weeks between grocery shopping expeditions so it really wouldn't affect me that much. You don't have to prep for doomsday or the fall of civilization but you should always be capable of providing for yourself for a week or more in case of natural disaster (and I like the Mormon rule of 30 days minimum).
I just watched most of it, not bad, not great, the dad in Colorado letting his daughters boyfriend sleep in the same room as the daughter???
I don't know maybe reality is too much for TV viewers...
Maybe its me but wouldn't a good swift dose of reality be a good thing?
I would say that I think the theory of Bugging out alone(small family) is flawed, yeah it will work in isolated situations, but I think a medium sized group would be far more successful in the longer term.
missed it and it's not On Demand. #$%^& cable
I took pleasure in watch "Emma" and her BF fail miserably. Guys complaining about a lawsuit because his new apartment doesn't have a back up solution to national power outage. LOL
Not bad, helped open a few eyes. If it was an HBO version they could have made it more real
Still unable to find it On Demand, or rebroadcast
Here, Jim.
