WOW... Did that cop even HIT the van.
"Educational Roadtrip"
LOL, they gotz "Educated" alright........
Nice example mom set.
The FSA goes on a roadtrip, film at 11......
Wow... Looks like the epitome of American values: woman gets belligerent at a routine traffic stop, setting a good example for her kids, who then decide to assault a police officer. Follow that up with more bad decisions and (thankfully) bad marksmanship... Not sure what he was shooting at, but seeing as he had just shown up at the scene, why was he the first to pull his gun anyway?
(1:35) Looks like the first cop pulled out a taser gun, not a pistol. (sound is down, so i can't hear the audio)
They were on an educational road-trip, nice.
If she hadn't escalated the situation, she would have received a ticket and been sent on her way. Entirely the mom's fault, including her 14 year old son being stupid and assaulting the cop. That being said, the cops that came in as backup failed to properly contain the minivan after the driver had already fled once, and there was no real justification that I saw to discharge a weapon at the retreating minivan, although it's possible there was an officer in front of it when she fled the second time.
Today's lesson: You ain't gonna win an argument with a cop on the side of the road. Save the arguments for the judge.
It IS interesting that this happened in New Mexico, in light of the revelations of the last week or so...
Oh lord, waiting for the cop bashing and keyboard commandos now.
Soo... In before the lock :).
