Does anyone know what the Mission Viejo community is like? I've been told that the southern part of Aurora is nicer than the rest and safer, but not sure how far south is the "better" part.

I used to live at Tower and Hampden, and my dad has a rental right in Mission Viejo. I'd say that is a pretty nice part of Aurora.
I live across the street from mission viejo and it's ok, I wouldn't want to live any further north and it gets better south of here. It's the north end of cherry creek schools of that helps at all
I live on Quincy and Piccadilly I like it there. I grew up on Argonne and Quincy east of the water treatment plant, parents still live there. I think it's nicer by southlands more of the centennial area.
Anything south of Hampden is pretty nice. I do many houses in Mission Viejo, Meadow Hills etc. Mission Viejo is older, smaller houses in the most part. You go west or east one major street over, you'll see larger homes.
Not bad at all... If you move let's have a welcoming party!
Thinking about it, there are a few houses down there under 200k. Haven't seen them yet, but they look like something to look at
Here is one of them

I live at Tower and Hampden. I like the neighborhood; built in the '80s with big trees, very quiet (except everyone owns a dog or two), lots of kids playing football in the street - typical American suburbia. We know and like all our neighbors, and I've left my truck in the driveway several times with the windows down and the key in the ignition and it was still there in the morning.
All that said, I'm sick of suburbia. This was our starter home and as soon as my oldest boy graduates HS in 2016, I'm buying a big enough piece of land in Bailey or Conifer that people can't live next to me.
I'm at Tower and Hampden as well, and it's not a bad place to live. Though Aurora politics are on the liberal free stuff army side. Wouldn't live north of Hampden out here again.
