Yes they are legal, and yes buying an AR pistol and having a Sig arm brace put on it is WAY cheaper than buying most SBR AR's and then filing your tax stamp.
I'm aware that the Sigtac arm brace is legal.....was mainly trying to address that the letter was to the Greenwood Police Dept in CO....which I thought was great that Sgt Joe Bradley contacted ATF to clarify the use of AR pistols and arm braces.
This looks like a great option if I build an AR pistol.
Nothing new, easy way to save some useless taxation by the Feds.
