Personally thought it was Birmingham, MI when I first saw the title since nearby Dearborn is a major muslim hub, one of the biggest in the US. And they somehow have publicly funded schools that have muslim teachings at their base curriculum. But this should be a warning to all western countries to be on the look out.
Sure as hell wouldn't be Birmingham, Alabama....

Seems to me a whole lot of bad people do a lot of of bad things and use whatever they want as a cover. As bad as religious wars have been historically, wars and atrocities by atheists or agnostics or NON-religious reasons have been 2 orders of magnitudes worse.
Fanaticism of any flavor is a bad thing. Believe what you want; try not to kill anyone else over it.
