Screen material and a pizza cutter can get you brand new screens.
Yeah, this is a good DIY project. However a guy I work with asked me one time, "How much is your time worth?" If it is more than it would be to hire someone, I totally understand you wanting to hire someone. If that is the case I am sure you can find an unemployed member here to repair the screens for you if you throw them a couple bucks.Quote:

If its a standard screen it can be done from a tailgate. Depot has a cut to length kit
Never thought about DIY. One I could probably do with a kit but the other frame is pretty bent up. Will have to hit the depot this weekend and see what's up.
A&A Trading Post (Ace Hardware) on Broadway has a screen repair guy. Just drop it off and pick it up later.
Same goes for The Big Tool Box on Holly in Centennial. They do screens.

Well I was able to swing this one myself. Bought new frames and fit to size and install.
less than an hour for both. Time well spent instead of money.
