Another Mass Shooting With Children Involved.

The title might be a little misleading, but it's Chi-town... What did you expect? The sad part is that this happens so regularly...

Late Monday night, a mass shooting occurred involving children in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood, off of 79th street at a laundromat.
Matthew Gills, a 33 year-old construction worker was home when he recalled “about 19 shots ring out.” Gills stated, “It’s too dangerous to let my kids play around the neighborhood. That’s all it is is gangs. Gangs, gangs, gangs, gangs, gangs. I don’t even want to be in Chicago because it’s too dangerous. I’m trying to move to Texas.”
The shooter allegedly walked into the laundromat, and randomly opened fire at anything he could hit. Among the victims shot was a 14 year-old who was later found a block away. The 14 year-old was transported to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn where he still remains in Critical condition. A 16 year-old was also shot, and remains hospitalized in serious condition. 4 other adults were also victims, though the police haven’t released any names or made any arrests.
What I find most ironic about this tragedy, is that guns are so highly restricted in Chicago, they’re virtually non-existent. Yet gang members still manage to maintain a plethora of firearms. In many instances, the gangs weapons are far superior to those readily available to the Chicago Police.
Just recently, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel created a long list of ridiculous restrictions, virtually making it impossible for gun shops to ever open up in his city. Yet, year after year Chicago leads the nation in gang violence and murders.
So why is it that a mass shooting involving kids occurs in “The Windy City,” and nobody cares? The answer is obvious. IT DOESN’T FIT THEIR AGENDA! This case had all the makings of a high profile news story minus only a few factors. It’s already been determined to be a gang related shooting, the “super duper evil AR-15″ was NOT used, and the gun that was likely used, was probably stolen. This case is a shining example that the liberal mainstream media doesn’t care about anything that doesn’t fit their warped agenda.
