I have an old Craftsman chain saw and a Mantis tiller that were my Dad's that I'd like to get operable again. They're not worn out, they're probably barely broken in, they just sat unused for 25-35 year and need good cleaning and tuneups. Can anybody recommend a small engine repair place, preferably near Parker?
i used this guy--had good reviews on angie's list. not necessarily close to parker, though

They do good work in there from what I have heard. Nothing in Parker that I know of, but it is still fairly close.Quote:

There's a newer shop in Castle Rock that does small engine repair. I've just seen their sign on Wilcox when I drive by. They're around the 1st and Wilcox area. No information known about them though.

I just pulled out my chainsaw to take to the shop in Elizabeth (darn weather took down tree). I believe they were $60 to sharpen the chain and tuneup the saw. I stopped in there one day and the place is very organized, clean, and very full of stuff in for repairs.
Jim's Fix-it shop in Frank town. He works out of his house and has parts from way back when. Father in law swears by him and he usually fixes his own stuff but uses Jim's when he is stumped or cant find parts.
