Every border state should be doing the same, enough is enough.

We all know this is a political gesture. 1K troops along 1K miles, is ineffective, to say the least. HOWEVER If and when the DOJ, and or Obama speak, up saying it is not the states responsibility to patrol the border. It gives R's more fodder coming closer to November.
We all know both sides of the aisle could care less about illegals, Dems for the votes, R's for the workers.

Perry has been governor for what, 14 years? About damn time. What took you so long?

Not excited until he gives them the go ahead to start shooting the invaders. Our country is being invaded, if we are paying for lazy asses to not work, then we have enough people.

The part I liked was where he was talking about having the federal government foot the bill for it since they should be doing the job anyways.
