Hi everyone I'm getting a trust made so I can play with neat toys, I know the trust's name can be what you want. My question is it a good idea or bad idea to have NFA in the trust name?

Why advertise?
It doesn't really matter at all. My personal preference -- and that's ALL it is -- is to leave it out. As Hound says… why advertise? I hope you're someone I've talked to recently. I'd love to have your business. I almost never know (or remember, I guess) forum screen names versus real names...

No, the shorter the better. My trust is simple. So simple the last efile, the person submitting forgot to include TRUST, on the form..Quote:

The other thing you might consider is leaving your name off the Trust if you ever plan on building an SBR or SBS. Your Trust name will have to be engraved on the newly-created firearm. If you ever sell the firearm, do you really want YOUR surname traveling around in the stream of commerce? With my luck, that's the gun that some wacko would steal and then use to go shoot up a schoolyard.
Agreed. Rod recently set mine up is less than 24 hours. I wanted my trust name short and discrete. Plus it allows me to engrave it into smaller places that a longer name might not fit.Quote:
