At the end of the day, I'd probably turn 'em loose...they eat plague rats (aka prairie dogs).

Yes, same thought here. I hate snakes but don't like killing them, even these bad-asses.

I've eaten enough rattlers. But have to agree they provide a service to nature so unless you are being attacked or hungry let em go.
