My new rescue dog
I was made aware of this boy on another site we will not mention. He was in a high kill shelter in Georgia. Basically the dogs get 7 days on a stray hold and a day or two after that. I was put in touch with a rescue organization there. At that point I had to wait a couple more days for the stray hold. The rescue organization pulled him out of the shelter and turned him over to a vet in the area. He was neutered, vaccinated, and tested for worms. Got a clean bill of health. A local forum member picked him up from the vet and held him for transport. Saturday he flew Delta cargo from Atlanta to Denver. Been quite a journey for him, but he has a home now.
