Handled one at the store today. First impression on the rack was it looks a little strange. Not really a hunting rifle nor does it scream tactical ass kicker take no prisoners.
It's not as heavy as a AR-10. At least it didn't feel like it in the store. There are no back up sights so it'd be scope only and that is a downside. Also from what I've seen online this afternoon mags are 50 bucks each and hard to find. Aren't all high cap mags hard to find right now? What I've read online is that FHN is the only source for this rifles magazines and they don't work very hard distributing them.
I've been lusting after a 308 AR lately and now this may be another option.
Anyone here have one or shot one? What do you guys think about this gun?

Sounds like you have no choice but to clean it from the muzzle and you are not going to be field stripping it.
A lot of people out there think it's butt ugly...and some of those people like FALs...go figure.

I have the FN AR 308 HB... Excellent Rifle..I have always used AR's, but picked one of these up and have been very happy..

I also have some extra Factory 10 round magazines, should you need any.
