You conspiracy theory republicans are all the same, it was just a honest mistake. We'll just take that one machine out there's no chance any other machine in all of Illinois is doing the same thing. This is after all the honest city of Chicago we've never had anything like voter fraud ever happen here.
Just like how Al Frankenstolewon the election in Minnesota. Recount after recount until they mysteriously overcome a deficit of thousands of votes -- and yet, not a single one of the "errors" the recounts "found" benefited his opponent. I'm sure it must be that vast Republican machine in Minnesota, after all, it's a bastion of conservatism -- or hell, even moderation ...
Who cares? PEYTON MANNING JUST SET A NEW NFL RECORD!!! OMG!!!!!
[facepalm]
Anyone who doesn't think elections are bought and paid for is naive.
These voting machines need to start printing TWO receipt for every person. One receipt for a "paper ballot" box that can corroborate the voting machines, and one for you so you can look back at how stupid you were for voting for Obama.
I think the Larimer County ballot is pretty simple (maybe it's the same for most/all of CO, don't know). Fill in a bubble for your vote. Honestly, if you're too dumb to figure that one out, you deserve to have your vote discounted :P
Florida's ballots were pretty simple too. They even stated on signs with big bold letters to make sure your punch cards were completely punched so you could see daylight. That didn't prevent morons from complaining that they should count votes from "dimpled" chads or one buffoon in West Palm Beach from complaining that he shouldn't have to read the ballot, the Democrat was ALWAYS the first one listed.
I completely agree.
That said, this is a worthwhile read for the bored:

They had tons of examples from otherwise seemingly simple ways to vote that are easily mis-interpretted. Some are indeed windowlickers far too dumb to vote, but some were actually kind of interesting.
