Mine is like $110 per $10K of coverage annual. And yes $2500 is for ALL 'sporting goods" . Also do not forget if you are a member to fill out the form so you can get your $2500 free INS from the NRA. it is not automatic.[Flower]
$110 per 10k is not bad at all. I'll have to talk to my agent to see what he can do for me.
State Farm can cover any amount you want on a personal articles floater. (Ha ha, I said floater). Ask you agent.
You should probably get additional coverage on your boat if you hang around here enough.

USAA offers a rider to your homeowners insurance specifically for firearms as well.
Along these lines, how does one go about getting the firearms appraised? I asked my insurance if I could get extra coverage. it was pretty damn expensive and they require an official appraisal but they wouldn't suggest any appraisal service.

You might want to look elsewhere. It seems (by the other threads we have had on this) that some just want a total value and some just a make/mdl and what you value it at.
Mine is a separate policy that gets me another 10% on my homeowners with them.Quote:

At one time, State Farm required firearm make, model, caliber, appraised value and SERIAL NUMBERS. I dropped that expensive policy and bought a safe which will be somewhat better than no protection at all.. [blaster]
