It reminds me of what it would be like if you gave 10 random Pirate BB members a TV show loosely based upon a "race" in Alaska.

I really hate non-history stuff on The History Channel. That goes right up there with all the "reality" and alien and monster crap on Discovery these days.
I watched the first episode. Mostly silly. Should be on on Spike or some what ever. I'm sorta tired of channels not living up to their name. A&E, no art, very little entertainment. MTV not much music. History channel, not like it was. TLC, hasn't taught anyone anything in a while. Same for Discovery.
History channel has zero history anymore. Come to think of it pretty much all the history/discovery type channels are now just loaded w reality crap. Swamp Miners, Amazon snake tossing, southern fried jackassery, gem collectors,,,,,,,,,,,, and the list goes on
Plenty of fail in that show. I think that the average Pirate member may be over qualified for that show. The sure do know how to turn a mole hill into a mountain tho.
I don't have time for that crap. I'm busy watching The Curse of Oak Island on the History Channel.
I'm a big fan of Gold Rush, Bering Sea Gold, American Pickers, and watch a couple of the Alaskan wilderness/homesteader shows. Have no interest in a bunch of offroading rednecks though. The other shows appeal to basic fantasies of mine of gold/treasure/antique hunting, and country living.
