New here & thought I would post up pics of the AR15 I just finished

Since I'm about 95% done finally I figured I would post up a few pics. About all that's left is a YHM Suppressor. Let me know what you think.

Future mods are:
Yankee Hill Machine Phantom Suppressor

We went out Saturday and after a quick zeroing session at 100yds we strapped an 18" metal gong to a poll 400yds out. There was a 17mph left to right wind gusting to 23mph and I was hitting the plate pretty much every shot including a series of ten shots that were one right after the other (about two seconds between shots pausing only to see/hear the shot hit) where I didn't miss. So far I'm pretty happy with it and it's a pretty good all around system. At 4x it's proven able to hit a torso size target in less than ideal conditions out to 600yds or more and at 1x with the illumination turned on it will work great for CQB and quick target acquisition in low light conditions.

Thanks guys! Yeah, it's a blast. I have a form 4 and a form 1 waiting for approval to add these two parts as well:

(It's on the counter top so regardless of how the shoes make it look it's not 15' long)

Not too long. It will probably be a couple months yet before I get my stamps.

I've been testing out the phase 5 bolt catch extension myself the past few weeks over a few different range sessions. If you can get over the cluttered trigger guard, it seems to be a nice piece of equipment. I just need more training time with it.

What do you think?

I like it. I'm not one to cram my whole sausage link of a finger into the trigger guard anyway so it's really a non-issue for me. If you use the pad of your trigger finger (which seems to be the popular way by people who shoot better than me) you shouldn't even notice it and it shouldn't ever catch your finger going from index to trigger squeeze. Hasn't for me yet anyway.
