Thank god for the TSA

and their incompetence.

Had to travel to New Orleans for work this week. Flew on out Wednesday and passing through security they tell me something hit on my cargo pant pocket and gave me a rub and tug. All clear. I get to hotel and go to dig something out of my pocket and find a single 9mm cartridge down there.

Whew.

This morning I put on another pair of shorts that were in my carry on and find another one.

Note(s) to self. Stop putting rounds in cargo pockets and double check everything before traveling.

Do you just dump a box of 9mm into the clothes dryer and let them find a place to nest? [Coffee]

No but Mrs Rooski is always pulling them out of the washer/dryer.

I can only imagine the horseshit that would have ensued if they actually found the round. Airport evacuation, 12 hours of questioning, the govt highlighting the TSA's success at stopping a potential terror plot.

I got to Chicago once and discovered a full Walther PPS mag in my computer case. Whew! I put it in my checked luggage for the trip back.

Something like that happened to my mother in law. I will explain tonite since I'm on the Droid now
