That is pretty cool. I'm a big fan of electric propulsion, namely, Hall Effect Thrusters (sometimes called Hall Current Thrusters).
I'll have to look into the Hall Effect Thruster, hadn't heard about that yet!
It sounds like we will be getting a report from NASA in the coming months on the gen 2, hopefully. I hadn't heard about the gen 1 until today either. I need to read more!
Old news. Stan Deyo (http://standeyo.com/index.html) has been talking & covering this for quite a while now. Stan has just released some great video, photos and original notes from Townsend Brown's old work on electrogravitics, (Bahnson Company's High voltage lab in Winston Salem).
In my opinion, NASA is just a front, they "release" and "discover" old tech to satisfy the masses, while the real developments are done behind closed doors...
If you want to read some interesting stories, check out Stan's writings. He worked with Dr. Teller in Australia for many years.
