It made the rounds last year I think.
Still a good reminder, especially for those who RSO.

Yeah, I remember that one. I think of it from time to time when I'm the last one taping up targets.
Anyone that's ever been to Dragonman's knows that feeling...
[panic]
I've heard that the guy down range in this video is deaf. Does anyone know if that is true?
I blame the range officer. He's responsible to run the stage safely. He should have made sure the range was clear before proceeding. If I was the guy down range, he'd be missing some teeth in a hurry.
Makes me second guess having someone else clear the range. I understand that there may not be an option to clear the range myself but it makes me take a hard look at the staff. I wonder if any organized events allow the participant to clear the range.

Good on the shooter for being aware of what was going on and not getting tunnel vision.
Good on the the guy downrange for hiding behind a cardboard target once he realized lead was flying his way.
It is not just the ROs responsibility to ensure safety. Every person on the range needs to pay attention.
And yes, the dude downrange is deaf as a post. He was just being a brass rat searching for that last piece of missing brass.
