I'll admit, I'm surprised that apparently trans athletes could already compete as women, but they had to have been surgically altered. In this case, they've decided to loosen it to where that doesn't have to take place.
Guess women's competitions don't mean anything anymore. Yay equality?
Amazing. Both Olympians and "trans" people seem to be members of extremely small communities. I'm honestly shocked that someone running in both circles came along this early in the scene.

Hmmm ... so a bronze/silver medalist guy could claim he's transgender, win a gold amongst the women, then say he changed his mind? WTF ... if God (or Manitou or Zeus or Zoroaster or whatever) gave you a guy's muscular genetics then you should compete with the guys. Period, end of story. OTOH, I lost interest in the Olympics years ago -- too much BS and too much money anymore.
I officially declare myself a woman. I am going to be the first Olympian to win gold in two different and unrelated sports. I can see the headlines now.
