This rig is awesome! Someone needs to buy it. If only I could convince my wife.

Since Walmart parking lots are RV friendly, that'd be fun to set up in the parking lot.
It's an easy $80k cheaper than an earth roamer. The ol lady's gonna retire soon. She's been eye balling the roamers, but way out of our 1% lifestyle. This is cheaper than a winnebagel, AND.....a much higher cool factor.mmmmm

I'm in love.
The pop up camper on that thing is 21 years old, and would almost certainly have issues unless the 1995 date is a typo.
2000 mile range, huh? Driving that thing 2000 miles would be about as much fun as a root canal with no anesthetic. I'm assuming there's no stereo system in the cab because you won't be able to hear it anyway.
The math says that thing will be getting over 18 mpg, which I find difficult to believe.
I"m pretty impressed with what he's showing in the pictures. I"m kind of curious how it gets a 2000 mile range with a 110 gallon tank ... I was kind of thinking more like 200 miles ... LOL
Ad of course, as a 1989 model truck, it shouldn't have any of those fancy electronic doodads that let the gubmint track your travels (if that's of concern).
If I had a place to park something like that, it would be really fun to think about ...
I love the "mother-in-law facilities" on the video. [ROFL2]
Why would they need them? That thing is about as inconspicuous as a whore in church. Hell you can probably see it from space.
I had the opportunity to drive M900 series trucks while I was in the military. Imagine trying to maneuver something that size through the narrow cobble-stone streets of your typical German village.Quote:

Let's just say the novelty wears off pretty quick. ;)
Oh, and the CTIS was a total PITA. All the ones we had were constantly being deadlined because of CTIS problems. Nothing like driving down the Autobahn at 45 mph and all of a sudden your tires want to go to 5 psi.
