Wrong neighborhood. You wouldn't catch me in an area that endangers my family. Can't tell if your being sarcastic but that's simply not true. So many social programs cater to under privileged children. There are mobile libraries for crying out loud. This is the US. What you want you can get. You want guns, drugs, prostitutes, no problem. You want food, healthcare, education. No problem. May not be to a persons exact desires but as I've always been told, beggars can't be choosers.

I was paraphrasing President Obama's words during the memorial service for the five slain Dallas police officers. I admit that I was too lazy to look up the exact quote and therefore did not place the sentence in quotation marks. You are correct as to the availability of books and computers in just about every neighborhood in the United States. Only someone who has been living under a rock or someone with a political agenda to pursue would make such a patently false statement IMO.
