Yea, the current migration of maryjane tourists into the mountains of Boulder County is a redo of what happened in the early '70s, with hippy encampments around Ned, Sunshine, Ward and Jimtown. In public and private land meadows, side canyons and old mine sites the new urban hillbillies pitched camps, trashed and crapped their places with no respect or regard for the land, plants or animals. Part of the result back then was the repopulation and resurgence of Nederland, Ward and Rollinsville as communities. I wonder what will result from this long term, probably more destructive urbanization, but the onset of winter will cull many of the unfit for now.
What cracks me up is the obvious hipocracy of the Earth loving, filthy hippies trashing the very Earth they reside on, illegaly by the way. Sometimes burning it to the ground. [facepalm]
