Used to see deer all the time between Arapahoe and County Line. There's so much construction there they've got to be moving a lot
Where I live in Parker it's not uncommon to see deer. Wife said she saw a really nice buck yesterday morning dead on Jordan Rd. just south of Lincoln, where Newlin Gulch crosses under Jordan. Hit by a car and the cops were trying to get it out of the road. We've both seen a big, awesome mulie buck trotting around our 'hood a few times, I hope it wasn't him. He was impressive.
Looking out our back door at the schoolyard across the street.... You can see we ain't in the country here, but Cherry Creek and it's whole ecosystem is very, very close to us, like a couple of blocks away.

There is a small herd that hangs out in the Inverness area. I see them napping between buildings during the day.
I went to the hot springs and saw two bucks, then I saw a bunch of naked women. $15 and it was worth it.
I'll have to post up the dash cam video later. I'm wondering if they made it off the road alive. They were just weaving in and out of the traffic jamb they created.
