Same here, there was some huge bomb used in Afghanistan around December 2001, I was under the impression it was the largest bomb at the time that was non-nuclear. Dalton Fury talks about it in his book.Quote:

Didn't they actually test MOAB in Afghanistan? I thought I read something years ago about 'testing' it there.. or maybe I'm thinking about the big bunker busters that were still warm when they loaded them on the plane..
Pretty sure that the weapon used early in Afghanistan was a thermobaric bomb, BLU-118B.
Glad I wasn't in one of those caves.
