Now you know who the Democrats think their constituency is.
Here is my one thing on this...it does appear he had changed. I don't know the full circumstances surrounding the case but 90 some odd years for 2 robberies seems out of line. Murder and rape gets lighter sentences.
To be fair on this one, it looks to be a pardon because of the silliness of releasing him early and being out for like 6 years getting his live together then trying to put him back. It's just a whoops when I've them scooped him up after. The pardon shouldn't affect his immigration status and ensuing deportation.
Hickenlooper gets free publicity?
No it won't. Immigration gives exactly zero F*cks about a pardon. In fact, if you aren't a citizen, you get into trouble, get some charges, but the initial charges are lowered, immigration still uses the initial charges to decide if they want to deport you. It's like dealing with the DMV, but even more difficult because you have no rights.
On top of that, Trump's recent immigration EO gives compete discretion to the immigration officer deciding the case. So if he rubs the officer the wrong way, he's gone.
My thoughts?
Hickenlooper can choke on a bag of dicks.
