I spent countless hours watching reruns of Batman as a kid.

Stood in a crowd of who knows how many back in 66 when BATMAN-The Movie came out, to see him and Burt Ward. 1/2 the town turned out to see them at a 50-60 seat theater. He actually tried exiting the bus to meet people.
Not sure what kind of a man he was, but I sure enjoyed his Batman character portrayal and seeing him make fun of himself in cameo's in recent years. In my eyes he'll always be THE Batman.
And I still think that the Batmobile from that series was the coolest..... R.I.P. Adam West.

That original stuff was cool for sure. That work will be around forever, so in that sense, he really was invincible after all.
RIP Adam. I still catch the occasional episode on a Saturday night.
