I've heard some say nothing special is needed, others say to use a specific type of grease.
I use whatever is on hand. Usually lithium wheel bearing grease.
I use black moly grease.
High temp axle/bearing grease.
Tetra Gun Grease
This for anything that slides:

Apply to threads of nut. Tighten to 50 pounds and release 3 times, then final torque. If you have a 7075 receiver and a match grade barrel, getting between 85 and 100 pounds will give you the best assembly.
Just be careful of galvanic response. Some greases will eat the aluminum if moisture is present.
