I found some more of my fathers old pictures, I'm curious what they ran into with the submarine. Fishing nets or some other submerged trash even that could have been a fatal event for a submarine. (looks like I may need to edit the size of some of these)

That’s awesome. Lived most of my life in South Bay. About 15 mins from TJ. I’ve got a picture of myself sitting on a spray painted donkey somewhere. Good times lol. Thanks for sharing.
Great pics. That’s history.
This is the only picture I have of my grandfather, right before he shipped out to fight in the Pacific with the Marines. He died well before I was born but apparently he fought in many of the major battles of the Pacific campaigns. He came back, had seven children by seven different women and then drank him self to death at 52.
