Miraculously, my wife and I both have off Christmas Eve, so today I'm doing my famous honey smoked turkey, grilled asparagus, grilled corn, homemade sweet rolls (maybe cornbread) and baked potatoes.
To top it off I'm making some creme brulee for dessert with homemade whipped cream. Kind of a hodgepodge of stuff, but that's what everyone wanted.

Hopefully I'm doing 4 pounds of Buffalo Ranch chicken wings in a new Instant Pot !!
Making cranberry relish...Christmas is at the sister in law's house, so they got the heavy lifting. We had em over at our place for Thanksgiving

I think I might be getting a sous vide set up for Christmas from my dad who recently got into it bigtime. There are plenty of steaks in the freezer to cook to try it out on Christmas Day. We'll see.
Not sure. As long as I don't have to cook whatever it is, I'm good.
Spring rolls.
My mom is making a prime rib, she turned 90 a week ago and still cooks a delicious meal.
Christmas dinner will be: Salad, lasagna, cheesy garlic bread and then cheesecake for dessert.
Christmas eve dinner was thanks to a quick run to Bird Dog BBQ.
For Christmas Eve dinner it's garlic clam pasta with our 2015 Gewurztraminer, and on Christmas Day we will have Elk Wellington. The Elk Wellington uses a ~3 lb. piece of loin browned, then wrapped in a puff pastry with mushroom, green onion and garlic, then roasted til crisp on the outside, rare inside. An old favorite!
Tonight is home made meatballs seared in cast iron skillet, then slow cooked in a pot o tomato sauce w/ finely chopped garlic, basil, oregano for 3-4 hrs. Over a plate of fusilli al-dente Garlic bread and green salad.
Christmas Day.
Leg of Lamb w/ rosemary olive oil base, then a dill, oregano, basil, cumin, shallot rub. side of steamed carrots and salad.
Followed with a chocolate icebox cake for dessert
