Again? He tried this in 2001. Anyone remember the USFL back in the '80s? There's declining interest in sports and the talent pool is beginning to dry up, so he's trying this again now?

I think this will fail but be entertaining in its debacle eventually.
It would be pretty successful if they actually partnered with the NFL and allowed each NFL team to have a minor league team in a city close by. Denver to Colorado Springs kind of thing. Play the games in the spring to early summer and use it to develop college players that were just drafted. The key would be to get some sort of TV contract but I would be into going to those games assuming they are reasonably priced. Could be great for taking the family to too.

That's how I feel and I've voted by not watching. Apparently not enough people feel the same way. Viewership numbers are down about 8%, but NFL football games are still the most watched programs on TV.Quote:

Even still, baseball can be +/- a lifelong sport, as all my fantasy camp friends are sending pictures from Phoenix.
