The story I am hearing is that there was a report of shots fired but they also said no shots fired since police arrived. The report of a man with a rifle was reportedly the first officer on scene.
Fox has a helicopter up and is filming, but I can't get any sound out of their stream.

Reports came in as early as 6:45 about shots fired. (At least that's the first I heard about it).
Sounds like the shots stopped when police arrived.
Channel 2 News is saying that people called 911 this morning to report hearing shots, but the police have not been able to confirm any shots fired.
They were stressing that this had nothing to do with a school, just that schools are on lock-out, as well as several restaurants in the area.
Jefferson county schools put out a message to all parents that this has nothing to do with the schools. It seems to be located behind the King Soopers at Shaffer and Ken Caryl.
Warranted or not getting that call about the lockdown is stressful. Glad it turned out to be no real risk to the school.
I’m glad for the call. I saw the streets blocked off when dropping off my kids and listened on a scanner app to find out what was happening. It was miles away from them, so I wasn’t too concerned. Had it been closer, I would have kept them home.
Seems that they're treating this with an abundance of caution. Report of shots heard around 6:30, no police confirmation of anything, yet recommendations to stay inside.
