Candle Holder I Built
Attachment 73751
This is a picture of a candle holder I did the masonry on. Owners are not interested in putting any type of fireplace insert. Just candles. Looks very cool in a downtown loft.
Matches 100 plus year old existing masonry walls inside. Those brick on the candle holder are original 100 year old bricks bought from recyclers to match.

Nice, odd you have just one end supported. How does the left side stay up;)

Nice work. So it looks like a fireplace, but no flue or chimney? I guess it's not so weird.

That looks great, I have teased my dad for years since he told me about building a “fake” brick fireplace in the basement of my parents first house before I was born and it just sounded cheesy but I think I will have to re think that lol (granted he said he put a cheesy early 70’s electric fake log fire type think in it)

I know a guy that had a rent house with the fireplace bricked in. One day they decided to remove the bricks. They found a dead body. Some dumb ass many years ago climbed down the chimney and got stuck. True story, happened in Pueblo.
