So much for the oft perpetuated, anti-gun mantra of "people with guns don't stop mass shooters".

We're all more likely to be hurt by guns just because they're in our homes. If I had any, I'd keep them locked away in a safe. Those things will shoot you while you sleep.

I've seen my old g19 run down the hall, load itself, rack the slide and about that time my only defense was to hold up a gun free zone sign and my g19 knew it had been defeated, thank God for gun free zone signs [Coffee]

I don't think I've ever heard someone say that people with find don't stop shootings. I have to admit to not caring what people say and not paying much attention though.

Wasn't there a guy with an AR who shot or killed the shooter?

ETA: That was this year. Unfortunately, 26 God fearing churchgoers already dead.

I want to say that was the church shooting in Texas where shooter was engaged with a rifle, then a car chase.

^^ That's the point. The FBI is actually admitting that armed and prepared citizens are a benefit to society and DO save lives during these types of situations.
