We walk our Lab in that general area every morning. Never seen a cat in the six + years we have lived here.

Kudos to the runner for not just cashing in his chips. I am wondering what he did to kill the cat?
My family property west of Boulder was overrun by cats in the late 80's to late 90's, and this fact was one of primary reasons why I started carrying a sidearm starting at age 13 on an almost daily basis while outside.
He strangled it to death.
i'd like to see pictures. either a sick cat or a beast of a man to be able to choke out a mountain lion.
Where do you see that he choked it?
I have seen some big cat spoor around Twin Lakes. I have never seen a big cat though. I have seen some big cat spoor around Pikes Peak, up Horsethief Park trail too. I guess he was in a thick brush area.
If the cat gets you by the back of the neck, you are probably doomed.
Meh, I've been chased by cougars before.
Some even liked being choked....
Apparently he had a concealed pillow permit [ROFL2]
