Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T
Anyone have one they can comment on? Kinda looking for something useable to about 300 yds but in close also. Seems to be one of the few that seem to maybe be able to cross both close and medium range. Any input (even other brands) would be appreciated. I have an aimpoint on another rifle and am just looking to set this rifle to medium range. Thanks.

Actually, there are plenty of good quality 1-4x or 1-6x scopes... if you are willing to pay ?
Less than $1000 this is hard to beat :

what about an acog TA01, I can trade a guy for my sig for one of those. I know it wont give me close range, I believe its fixed at 4X.

I have one on my SHTF weapon. I like it as a compromise optic, I can clear rooms with it, and have taken shots out to 600m with it. Some say it's heavy, but it weighs less then an Aimpoint m4 and 3x magnifier with mount, and I have a reticle that work without power. Some don’t like reticle’s power settings, saying it’s not bright enough in sun light, but you don’t need to turn in on in the sun light. Is it as good as a scope for long range shots? No, but scopes suck at CQB. Is it as good as an Eotech at CQB? Almost, but better at long range shots. There isn’t much love for it out here on the internet, but I think most of it comes from people who don’t have one. I didn’t know what to think when I started reading what I could find on it. I was lucky to know someone who had one, that I could use before a wile, and see if I wanted it. I tock it hog hunting fall and it worked great. If you get one, PM me, I have some range finding dope I’ll give you.

I swapped the M68 off of my M4 during my last Iraq tour for the Leupold CQ/T. Day missions, night missions, NVG compatible, magnification when needed... A better optic than the M68 (Aimpoint) as long as you train and practice with it.
