How are we supposed to have boating accidents, then?
We're all LARPing since none of us shoot cus we all lost our guns in a boating accident. Nothing to confiscate ATF. Move along. Warrant? You'll need dive gear. etc.
I would challenge any forum member to find any Front Range county owned recreation area or open space that specifically permits open carry. Maybe there are a couple spots, but that would be a pretty short list. Jefferson, Boulder, Larimer counties are all on the "keep scary weapons hidden" side of things.
Maybe El Paso or Douglas is different?
It's always been that way with gov owned properties.
Have you tried Crater lake?
It's a thing for gov owned public properties. Usually run into those signs at public (city) parks.
