SKS stock options
I have a SKS I purchased a couple decades ago that is still wearing its wood stock. I would like to change it to a multi position stock. Has anyone changed theirs out and do you like it? What brand? I've looked at Tapco, ATI, and Phoenix online. The Phoenix are American made, so I was leaning that way.

I had a Choate Tool Dragonuv on mine. I like it alot. This was circa 1995...

I had a dragunov on one, and while I wanted to like it. The cheek piece was so square it was uncomfortable for me to shoot. I also had a folding stock that was unusable do to me being left handed.

It’s still an SKS.. unless you have one of the few models that were imported that allowed the use of AK magazines I don’t see any benefit to “tacticaling” an SKS.

Keep it classic and maybe get a newish condition original style stock.

So, digging through the safe the other day, I found one with the side folding stock and the one with the dragunov style stock. I still dont care much for either. My 6 year old saw the side folder with the banana mag, and said that it was the coolest gun ever. Lol. Maybe I will just leave them in the safe and work on different projects.

Thank you. I forgot about this one. I will have to find a brake to put on it for it to be in compliance once I figure out what stock.
