Gen 3 glock 17 v 19 parts

So I ordered a g17 & g19 slides, slide parts kits & lower parts kits. The slides had the recoil spring installed to hold the barrels in place.

Both lower kits and slide kits were in unlabeled bags. I can not see any difference between these parts kits. Is there any difference? Internet says they are interchangeable and different depending on who answered. I think these are p80 part kits.

Locking blocks were bought separately.

The barrels and locking blocks are different between the 17 and 19. Pretty much everything else is common between them. Well, except for the recoil spring assembly. Obviously the 17 is longer.

Not long ago I put a long slide on a 19 frame. Finding a barrel that would work took me a little bit. I ended up having to go with a gen 5 Glock 17 barrel. The gen 5 now shares a common locking block and barrel lock up area between the 17 and 19.

I think the takedown lever spring is different between the 19 and 17. The rest of the frame parts should be the same.

Except for the locking block of course.
