According to many in the area these were common sizes until to 50s
At Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River, they had sturgeon approaching 20’ long, of course that was 40 years ago
There was a time they caught them more frequently over 1,000 pounds. It's good to see that their protection may have them again getting closer to that size.
