CCW at Colorado State Fair?

Going to the fair in Pueblo tomorrow.

They have walkthrough detectors now. The lady at the gate even measured my knife blade.

I asked about a ccw tonight. I was told no at the gate.

Sounds like the typical patronizing anti-gun dumbassery.

Do they allow backpacks? Do they wand them or just hand search like at Coors Field?

They had us open them so they could search them.

They didn't search or scan my sister's stroller. YMMV.

Back home now. The set-up was 100% security theater. [facepalm]

The crowd seemed pretty tame during the day. We left before dusk, so unknown of the timbre changes later.
