I just received word that Jeff Lindsay, aka "JackRyan" here on COAR15, has passed away.

While Jeff hadn't been active on the site since 2019, several folks here knew and some had done some Trading Post deals with him (some smooth, some not so much). Regardless of how Trading Post deals went I can tell you first-hand that Jeff was an honorable and respectable guy.

Jeff and I were worked at the same location and for a few years where I performed augmentee Satellite Operations Controller duties, Jeff was always nearby to ensure I didn't screw up and offered words of encouragement. Jeff honorably and faithfully served his country for many years, until his passing.

Details on his cause of death aren't available but his loss will certainly be felt by many.

Rest in Peace my friend.

Didn't know the man, but you and others did - sorry for the loss of your friend, that's always hard.

I am sorry to learn this news and pray for his friends and loved ones who are mourning. Rest in Peace, Jeff, and thank you for your service!
