PCSL Rifle Charity Match for RMGO - 5/4/2024
The GunThots Invitational PCSL Rifle Charity Match for Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, aims to raise money for Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, a 501(c)(4) non-profit gun rights advocacy group in Colorado, to defend 2nd Amendment Rights for Coloradans. As many of you know we are facing a litany of overreaching bills that if passed would severely limit our ability to access the arms and ammunition that we all use here at this very range at a variety of matches. The proceeds of this match will go towards lobbying, and if passed, litigation to fight these bills in court. Without our support, matches like this, where so many of us have made lifelong friends and memories will no longer be feasible due to significantly higher costs and prohibitions surrounding replacement parts. Please join us for a fun and challenging day as we strengthen the bonds of our community together.

This is a 7 stage PCSL rifle only match tailored around the AR-15, AR-10, and other semi-auto rifles.
There will be 5 close range field stages, 1 mid-range (100 - 200 yard) stage, and 1 long-range (150 - 400 yard) stage. Targets are paper and reactive steel in varying shapes and sizes with 8 MOA minimum.
The average round count is 30 rounds per stage. You will need 250 - 300 rounds of non steel core ammo. Hardened penetrator/tracer ammo is specifically not allowed in any way shape or form. If you are caught with this ammunition, it will result in a DQ and you will owe the club the full amount to replace damaged targets. Mild steel core ammo must be approved to use by the Match Director in-person prior to the shooter's meeting.
All divisions except for Battle Rifle will be Minor scoring.
Match Times:
Setup: 7:00 AM
Check-In: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Shooter's Meeting: 9:15 AM
Match Start: 9:30 AM
New Shooters:
If you haven't shot other dynamic shooting sports such as USPSA nor the BBTR match, you MUST attend the new shooters briefing at 8:00 AM before the match. Show up early and check in with the Match Director for the briefing.
Fees and Payment:
Match cost is $50 CASH ONLY.
Match fees are collected at the match (cash only); more donations are welcome.
