The Phoenix coyotes are moving to Salt Lake City next season. They are having a contest to name the team. I'm curious what you guys think about the team names they came up with.
I think they all suck.
The options to choose from are Frost, Ice, Powder, Mountaineers, Freeze, Mammoth, Black Diamonds, Blast, Caribou, Blizzard, Swarm, Hive, Outlaws, Yeti, Squall, Fury, Glaciers, Canyons, Venom and HC, which stands for Hockey Club.
Actually like coyotes better than any of them.

Funny how fans are worried more about the name than the actual organizations.
My son mentioned that the Arizona Coyotes name was being retained by the NHL for award to a later Arizona expansion team once a proper arena is constructed.

I think they're just going to use multiple names. Multiples is a trendy thing in Utah.
