How was this brought to any authority attention if they were in the attic?
Interesting follow-up story - not covered by the mainstream media in that area, I'm sure.
I'm sure the original story stated something about a major cache of assault weapons and other guns confiscated in a successful drug raid.
Yes, I too am curious about how these folks got on the radar of the authorities in the first place.
Sounds like a crock. Notice they don't mention anything other than "a search turned up the weapons", as well as the "pills found were obtained legally". No mention of any particular reason WHY they searched.
My horse, on the other hand, is amazing.

Does the article say if they got their guns back? I didn't catch it if it did. Charges dropped doesn't mean much when they show up and steal your possessions.
Agreed. "Confiscation" is nothing more than government endorsed theft.
