Hi and welcome to the forum, tell us a bit about yourself
Welcome [Beer]
Hmmm..; what to tell? I moved here five years ago from Northern California (Mendocino County). In CA did a significant amount of reality based training (i.e., Simms FX) as a role player, DT instructor, and RO with LE and some Mil; I am a "Simmunitions Supervisor"; I have done a bit with handguns and taught ~1000 citizens CCW; I was a student of Col. Cooper's at Gunsite and knew him; I really like to shoot all the small arms; but have focused on precision rifle recently and have shot the SRM a few times; I am interested in getting into 3 Gun in the very near future.
In CA I had a very good firearms network and would like to develop more of that in CO.
Welcome..
Welcome. Got to play a bit with simmunition loaded handguns when I played cop for the USAF. They leave a nasty whelts.
Once I did an evolution with about 70 officers and the final scenario was suicide by cop where it was imperative that they "won" by defending them selves from the perp. I was the role player and ended up getting shot with at least one full magazine from each officer. I did have protective gear on, but when I got home my wife saw that I was covered in welts and proceeded to question my sanity.
WELCOME!
I took the Larimer County Citizen's Academy in 2008 and on our Saturday field training class, we got to team up two on two and "Arrest" 2 LCSO SWAT Deputies, while all of us were armed with sub-munition equipped Glock 19's. I got a little trigger happy and dumped 6 into my guy... and got hit twice back. Fun times were had by all!
Happy 4th!
