Here's your chance, It's worth the drive.
This coming weekend, the CO State USPSA Championship will be held at the Ben Lomand Gun Club (www.blgc.org). There will be shooters from beginner level all the way up to professional shooting the match, with the best CO shooters all in attendence plus some of the best from three other states competing. Many of the Grand Master and Master shooters are the best in USA, and a few rank in the top 25 in the world.
Here's the cool part; the match and range is open for spectators for the match. Yes, you can come out and watch. Obviously, be respectful of their focus on the shooting, and eye and ear protection is manditory. Come on out and see what the sport is all about. The stages are equal to any Nationals pistol competition.
The range itself will still be open for member's use in a limited capacity. Non-members cannot utilize the range except as a guest of a member. Lunch will be provided on Sat to registered shooters only as this was a part of the entry fee.
So, come on out and see what USPSA is all about. Talk with shooters. USPSA shooters are a pretty social group, just be respectful of the competitors focus on the shooting. If you are interested in looking at BLGC, not a bad time to come out and see the range either.
More than a few members on this site will be out there and blastin. [M2]
