Place to shoot near Durango?

I'm traveling down to Durango next week for a few days for work. Place to shoot?

Durango Gun Club range. You must be with a member. I'd offer to take you over but I'm out of town till Thursday afternoon. Check the website WWW.durangogunclub.com, maybe one of the club officers could work something out for you.

Other place is a public range run jointly by CO DOW near Bayfield. I've heard range safety is somewhat suspect though.

I shoot the bayfield range all the time. Its great and its free. Also there is National Forrest everywhere.
