The worst part, really, is the 2 years. Because that would put it when, right before an election. Yeah, someone is going to raise taxes before an election. The democrats are laughably bad.

The unemployment doesn't extend them another 13 months, it just keeps that welfare (and the extensions are welfare, the first 26 weeks are insurance) open for 13 months, so once you've run out that 99 weeks that's it.
I think extending a tax cut that was going to sunset IS still a cut, if only on future taxes, not present ones. :)Quote:

Obama is not a moderate but his decisions are being forced that way.
Pres. Obama said on Tues.
"I've said before that I felt that the middle-class tax cut's were being held hostage to the high end tax cuts," Mr. Obama said.
